  • Arcane Meditation is being increased to 10/20/30% mana regeneration. (Source)
  • Ice Barrier gains additional benefit from spell damage bonuses. However, the base absorb values of ranks 5 and 6 have been reduced. (Source)

Mage and Engineering buffs in the same patch? Who are you and what have you done with Blizzard?

Unless the Engineering mount looks *really* good, I don't see how it's a buff. It will act the same as all other mounts and fly the same speed. Plus, you'll need to grind the mats for it. I'm guessing Blizzard will make a really dorky flying mount that few people will want to grind for.

As for the repair bot, that mostly helps the party/raid, not the engineer.

So how is this an engineering buff?

But the mage changes are wicked, yeah :)

As always, the devil is in the details. Since the majority of the cost of a flying mount is in the skill, the only way for the engineering mount to be cheaper than the normal one is to make it require only Engineering, not the full-cost riding skill. Although Blizzard is adding a hippogryff that costs 2k gold and Cenarion Expedition Exalted at the same patch..

While the non-epic mount is probably going to look as dorky as the non-epic mechanostrider, I haven't lost all hope on Blizzard's art crew, especially if they take some cues from Ethereal/Naaru machinery. I just hope they're going to use different models for goblin and gnomish engineers.

As for the repair bot.. I'm fine with it being a party/raid buff, because it improves your chances of getting a raid spot.
